Marty Graham (Coach D.)

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard”

My name is Marty De’Shawn Graham; I thank God for this opportunity to be in the business of changing lives. I was born in Oklahoma City Oklahoma and raised in sunny San Diego California. I am a proud father of 3 beautiful children Amari, Nevaeh, and Laila Graham. I was a stand out athlete in high school and earned a full scholarship to San Diego State University as a student athlete, I was also taken in the late rounds of the 96′ baseball draft. I spent two years with the Arizona Rattlers, where I learned the importance of off season conditioning and training from great players like; Hunky Cooper, Calvin Schexneyder, Randy Gatewood and Cedric Bonner. I was blessed to be coached by the NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback Danny White. I continued my Arena Football career with the San Diego Riptide where I set new records in receiving and all-purpose yards. I retired after returning back to the phoenix area and realizing how important it is to give back to the next generation of athletes.

I have always had a passion to give back to young athletes, who are looking to take their game to the next level; I coached Varsity and Junior Varsity football at Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego CA. and at Brophy Prep in Phoenix Az. I have one year of college coaching experience at the  at Glendale Community College where I coached Running Backs and was the assistant strength and conditioning coach. I have been a personal trainer for over 15 years 2 of which I was certified Fitness Instructor For former Bally’s Total Fitness, and Xl Health Club in Glendale Az. I am currently pursuing my national certification as a persona trainer, I am able to use my creative and fun approach to Athletic development training  to train the younger generation of athletes who are looking to be an impact player on the field or on the court. Athletics have been a huge part of my life and has opened many doors; the most important door is the one that give me the ability to have a positive impact on others. I train because I love the look on an athletes face when they finalize realize their potential and settles for nothing less. I am a young, energetic, outgoing and ENTHUSIASTIC trainer, and rather I’m training the next Heisman Trophy Award winner, or Friday nights bingo winner, I will approach each session with the same passion and focus! I love what I do and very thankful to be blessed to do it.
